Armistice Day was created after WWI over a hundred years ago. It was a day to be celebrated and dedicated to world peace. After WWII, the US Congress rebranded Armistice Day and renamed it "Veterans' Day." Veterans for Peace is taking back Armistice Day for peace and friendship.
Join Santa Fe Veterans for Peace and friends from the anti-nuke movements on Tuesday, November 11 at 10:30 at the Santa Fe Plaza for singing, speeches, and a solemn ringing of a bell eleven times at 11am.
